I just successfully installed Deviation 5.0 and my new 4in1 module. All the standard protocols that came with my transmitter are working fine on the new module,IE:DEVO,DSMX,DSM2 etc. However I can't seem to get the new protocols from the other 3 modules to work. Is there something I need to do for the transmitter to get it to see the new modules? HELP! I am a new to this.

You need to edit the hardware.ini file. You can do that using the USB connection. Be sure you use Notepad++.exe so that line endings are kept correctly.

Search for the Devo12E thread and there is a lot of information there.

You need solder 3 wires from 4in1 to main board and edit hardware.ini.

See Devo 10 connections:

no one can answer that without knowing what exact connections you have made.
Post a picture of your wiring, so one can see what module is connected to what solder pad.
or describe the connections from module pads to TX pads (e.g. 2401 to B7, 7105 to A13, 2500 to A14) Use https://www.deviationtx.com/media/kunena/attachments/2662/IMG_1697sm.jpgthis picture for reference.

THEN one could make a proper ini for you, or tell what has to be written in.

Quick glance how it could have been done:

proper approach:

Success!, I saved my hardware.ini in another location just for safety, then I deleted the file in my transmitter. Copied and pasted from the Devo 10 hardware ini. thread posts into the 12E file, via USB and "Ba-mm!" it worked! :) PS:Attached is the file you will need to copy and paste for you new 4in1 module in your Devo12e or Devo10. Don't forget to save your old hardware ini.file in your transmitter first, just in case there is a problem.
