i would go another way....
i would buy www.tmart.com/BoldClash-BWhoop-B03-Pro-0...r-Board_p368452.html
or www.banggood.com/Eachine-E011-RC-Quadcop...rch&cur_warehouse=CN
and use the Bayang protocol.
Another advantage is, that you can flash these boards with silverware, so you can fly in acromode and use telemetry for low battery alarm.

As far as I know, every protocol supported by the multipro is supported,by Deviation e.g. T8SG also. So nothing will, change. I think E010 Protocol is,a sub protocol of MJXq, selected by pressing 'ent' while at protocol, selection page - IIrc (I don't fly E010 either, I also prefer Silverfied quads

Connect nrf24-multipro through trainer port, choose PPM protocol, then follow the instruction but not working!
Is there something else I need to do?

Most of the cheap ones on banggood don't work with the E010 either.
If using my firmware from github, expected channel order is TAER (deviation is AETR by default), and you'll probably have to reverse rudder & aileron to use it with deviation.
Modules using this board usually work with the E010 (that's what I use to make the nrf24-multipro modules):

Also works perfectly when installed into a Devo.

What I had tried are cheap ones on banggood, both of them are not working, the led never lit up!

Jumper T8SG Plus, approaching :
The T8SG multiprotocol radio control from Jumper will be available soon in a new and updated version. What will change? It will be possible to change the transmitter module, the joysticks are Hall effect models, the screen will be OLED, and there will be 4 new switches! Hopefully, the USB connector is more accessible than the original version. There is still no date or price for the T8SG Plus ...

...
So I reduced the 560K between A3 and J1 switch pin1 to 240K, and the shutdown save now works fine down to 2.8v. With that it seems possible to have a single 48gram Li-Ion cell provide 3000+mah. The reduced weight is nice. Note that 4 Eneloops in a Walkera battery holder are around 125grams.
Nice experiment, Ramunas! Since the T8SG won't accept 4xAA, I would love to just install a 18650 cell and call it a day. It would be even cooler if the updated T8SG Plus could come with an 18650 standard from the factory!

T8SG - stock firmware.
cannot save changes except model name.
rebooting wipes everything. changing models wipes changes.
flashed firmware from nightly build - deviation-t8sg-v5.0.0-e292f38.dfu
same issue.
any ideas on how to actually save?
the manual doesnt say. Long press on ENT doesnt do it.
if this is wrong area, let me know and I'll post elsewhere.
thanks and apologies for something that seems very simple.

In the 'Mixer' menu you have to save each stage by selecting the 'Save' flag and then pressing 'Enter'. Everything else should save automatically.

thanks. I have been doing that but no luck.
even saving in mixer (add extra channels, save but things dont save).
I want to use frsky protocol. cannot save it.
If I go to the model menu to load, it shows the current model as not saved.....
sigh.
Thanks for the reply
