I will buy a soldering iron with a fine tip as my soldering iron isn't that good, it has a rather large tip which makes it a pain to solder small points.
My eyes are 11 years older than yours, i know how it feels.
If your iron has a copper tip file it down.

Could it be something to do with the latest nightly that I have installed?
I have deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1-583c468 nightly build installed.
This is what is in the error.txt file when I connected it to the pc and checked error logs;

another member has a question regarding the 7e and kn protocol here
www.deviationtx.com/forum/model-configs/...s-v931-v977-v2#40752
because you have a 7e you might be able to better answer his question
thanks

Also as I had already mechanically trimmed the V977 and leveled the swash plate, there are no drifts so no need to apply any trims. Very stable flight. I am a beginner so still afraid of trying 3 axis mode, I will wait till I get better.

denis747 wrote: Another newbie question, how do I adjust expo and dual rates on 3d (3 axis) mode for the V977? I have read the deviation manual but still confused.
I am interested as well. I need to adjust the tail dual rates as I need a bit of acceleration when pushing it up fast. Don't know whether is possible or not, but it would be good as I converted my 977 to 2s and althougt is very stable in flight, it is much more powerful and tail is sometimes hard to lock.
Thank you.

what switches does 7e have?
ini allows you to select and adjust expo/rates on mix 3 position sw
so, use ail/ele setup page to adjust and use sw to select

try use rud expo/rates template
not sure if rx will allow settings above 100
not easy to test for any changes

Thanks Birdman, I have modified my devo 7e by adding two 2 position switches, so one switch switches between 3 D and 6 g modes and the other switch switches between high and low rates. I will try adjust the expo and use one of the two position switches to switch between high and low rates.Birdman wrote:
