As long as I set the power to 1mW I can bind my Devo 10 without issues. I've been flying for a while but realised that with bog standard settings I am flying on low rates. Any suggestions how to increase those and assign to a switch? Someone posted a file, probably on RC Groups but can't find it again, that had all functions programmed. However I get a weird behaviour when I use that file. It will bind and I can fly around but then all of a sudden the motors will start to rev seemingly at random. With the basic model file that does not happen.

Anyone care to help a noob out, trying to get my e010 bound to my 8s and it does bind however the screen is almost completely black therfore I can't see my inputs and such.

Hello goebish, i have my E010 since yesterday, and it's ok for blind to my Devo 7e, the fly it's very good in 30mw but to 100 or 150 mw the tiny have a bad réaction, i say that juste for info because for me it's very nice and 30mw

Yes, this has already been reported, just set it to 10 or 30mW (both are ~80mW actually when using nrf24l01+PA...), that's more than enough for this kind of aircraft 
.. but that probably means the voltage regulator in your 7e can't provide enough current for this protocol, this sub-format draws more juice than the other MJXq formats as it runs @ 250kbps vs 1Mbps, thus requiring 4x more time (and current) to transmit a packet.

i had already installed the NRF24L01 module into my devo 8. i also enable it at harware.ini file. i download the the lastest nightly build n e010 file. still i cant find at my transmitter e010 format under mqjx protocol. what seem the problem here?? help

Captured a bind with my TX.
First time I used a logic analyzer... tell me if something's wrong.
I captured with sigrok/pulseview, was unable to connect saleae Logic to my analyzer.

Sad. One of the tricks I applied is to program arbitrary id and watch what channel the receiver starts listen to. You can recover the hopping sequence relatively easy.

I'm having a similar issue on my 10e. The quad will bind at 1mW, but will cut out control every few seconds, so it can get kind of dangerous to fly. Not quite sure what can be done to increase the current to the module.
