it's working bud , i have done a quick test flight but i've not tested trims, rth, headless mode etc as it's almost midnight here and the missus and kids are asleep, but i will do a more thorough test in the morning, but for now let me say that you sir are an absolute genius and a real asset to the rc/rf hobby!

nice one bud, sorry I thought one of the shoulder buttons would be flip but looking at the instructions flips are initiated by clicking the right stick then choosing a direction, I can get you a capture tomorrow for that. as for the shoulder buttons the instructions are a bit confusing lol



could you possibly send me a diff of the code as it stands?, or post it to your own repo? as i'd like to compile a build for my u7e that also includes silpstreams latest switchmod code as the u7e is my main tx.

Awesome, I'll fit my NRF module over the next few days.

Left shoulder button is rates and right shoulder but is for flips, pressing activates beeping from the tx and any directional input flips in the direction, pretty typical I think you guys would find.

I think the flip button also acts and a trim/calibration for the headless or RTH, at least thats what I thought I deciphered from the manual but niether of those interest me much so have not looked any farther into it.

The sticks have no down press buttons from what I could tell. The gimble spindles have no slot for depression, unlike what I have seen in game controllers.

thanks for the info soulsmoke, I'll get some more captures done tomorrow with the throttle up and see if that makes the difference.

i didn't know about the stick/gimbal clicks not working, i just read in the manual that doing so is how flips are initiated, though the manual claims there's an inverted flight function, as well as 'stunt'/flips, and return to home, all by pressing the left shoulder button so I'm not going to take everything it says as gospel lol. tbh rth and auto flips etc aren't my kind of thing either, and I didn't know how they were engaged as i haven't tried them out yet

i'm not sure bud, give me a little bit and i'll reassemble the stock tx, fly for a bit and work out the switches for rates etc, then i'll make some new captures

ok new captures are added bud, they include flips, and also all 4 full stick travels when on high rates, previous captures were on low rates as you thought
